I've been a big fan of credit unions for some time, and I'm currently a member of 3 others besides DUFCU. The service here is quick and convenient, they're never really busy. The rates and services are somewhat lacking compared to other CUs I've used, but they're still at least as good as if not better than most big banks. The location is quite convenient to Duke campus, though allegedly they're moving that branch to a downtown location in the next year.
Pros: Convenient and friendly
Cons: A bit lacking on typical CU features, rates aren't competive

I am fed up with all of the big banks in the area. Finally I have found a financial institution that feels small town and yet offers me all the services I need.
