Now that the American Tobacco District is open there are so many more reasons to go out to the ballpark. Parking is no longer a problem and you can hit Tyler's or Mellow Mushroom before the game for some beer or food and walk right across the street. Plus tickets are cheap and the atmosphere is great. There's really no better deal for anight out in Durham.

i have been twice and both times were a wonderful experience... the ballpark is very nice for minor league... good location... and good selection of food... parking needs work, but is appropriately priced

Pros: clean, good price

Cons: bad parking

DBAP offers the best baseball experience south of Camden Yard in Baltimore. When the American Tobacco Project is finished, it will be the centerpiece for Durham's rejuvenation.

Pros: Atmosphere-Design, Flying Burrito, Good Baseball

Cons: Basic Concessions

Great experience at the Durham Bulls Games. They really know how to treat the fans. They offer fireworks, games, acts, etc. Kept my mind off the many errors of the game. The tickets are very reasonably priced and the seats offer good views.

Pros: entertainment, food selection

Cons: parking difficult, not enough shade

This is a great idea for something to do, when you're tired of movies, restaurants and bars. I'm not a huge baseball fan, but I had one of the best times at a Durham Bulls game. Now I know why it's called America's pasttime--it's not just a spectator sport. It's fun to watch the people from the crowd get to do things on the field in between innings. And catch a fly ball and eat some tasty park snacks!! We had a great time!

It's the next best thing to being at a major league game only the seats are cheaper and the view better. This intimate "old-fashioned" ball park offers the best view of downtown Durham, has a surprising array of food choices and is a great place to go when visitors come to town.

Catch a game, catch a view. Toss back some cold brews and corn dogs.  See the full editorial review.
