Almost 2 years ago I searched the triangle high and low to find a tanning bed worth my money. Most of the tanning salons I came across were way over priced, and had young ditsy girls working in them. I've paid $60 a month for unknowledgeable service, not that great of color, and not to mention when my time was up in the tanning bed and I was getting dressed, the employees would come around and knock on the door telling you to hurry up. Never have I experience this at Exotic Tan in Raleigh. The staff is VERY friendly and knowledgeable and always willing to help. they have enough beds to where you never have to wait, and comparatively they are priced very low for what they offer. I have been a member for almost 2 years, and for 27 bucks a month unlimited, you can bet I will stay a member! Thanks Exotic Tan!

Pros: Owner is there almost every day, 17 low beds, 2 medium, 2 high, and a stand up

Cons: nothing, this place is wonderful

The service at Exotic Tan was great! I got the spray tan to eliminate my tan lines. I was in a wedding and had to wear a strapless dress. The spray tan did a great job to dimish my tan lines. The pictures from the wedding turned out great and you can't even tell I had lines! Thanks!!

When we upgraded Exotic Tan and put in a playroom in for our clients that have children we were very pleased with all of the feedback. I can honestly say the place looks and feels completely different. The only thing that hasn't changed is the Great color you will get from our salon. I tried the sunless tanning for the first time and I loved it. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. I loved how natural the sunless tan looked...I will certainly be going back.

I have a very light skin tone, almost pasty white, and I burn very easy in the sun. A friend of mine suggested I try a spray tan at Exotic Tan. She told me a certified technician does the sprays and it looks really natural. I stopped by after Christmas and talked to the owner, Christina. She explained how they have several spray solutions and she suggested we start with the lightest solution since I am so fair. She also suggested I try 5 minutes in the standup booth after the spray which is a medium pressure. She explained that it would help dry the spray sooner and it would start giving me some protection from the UV rays. I have to tell you, it looks great! I was so afraid it would turn out orange but it looks so natural my friends wanted to know where I went over the holidays to get such a great tan. They had no idea it was a spray tan. Christina was great and very knowledgeable. She really made me feel comfortable and special. If you have problem tanning like I do, stop by Exotic Tan and talk to Christina. Spray tan may work for you also. I highly recommend the spray tan and standup booth combo.

I was a member at another local salon for the past 5 years and it seamed like I wasn't getting as dark as I should. So I went over to exotic to try it out just for a couple of sessions to see if there was a differance. Well I am now there client for life. I got the tan I wanted in just a couple of visits. And when I was greated by the owner on my first visit it made me feal important even though she is there most of the time. I love that I don't feel pressured, which makes for a relaxing session.

Pros: no pressure, great staff, awsome tan

I am a bigger man and this is the first tanning facility which I have found that I felt comfortable. I had no problem using the high pressure booths and got a great tan. Another nice thing about Exotic Tan is that I was not made to feel unwanted because of my size. The staff was very helpful especially explaining the different types of tanning lotions. I signed up for the Premier Club membership after the staff explain how I can get the high pressures, medium pressures and standup for half price as a member.

Exotic Tan is great place to tan. The staff makes you feel right at home and treat you like family. They take the time to explain the different tanning options and lotions that you can use. As for the price, I think they are the most reasonable in Raleigh. I look forward to going 2 to 3 times a week. The color I get is better than any other salon I've been to. AAA+ Service

I HATE WRITING REVIEWS BUT IN THIS CASE I HAD TO LET PEOPLE KNOW. I HAVE BEEN TANNING FOR 15 YEARS AND HAVE TANNED AT MANY SALONS. I RECENTLY ARRIVED IN THE RALEIGH AREA AND HAVE TRIED A FEW SALONS IN MY AREA BUT WASNT GETTING A GREAT TAN AND A CO-WORKED SAID TO TRY EXOTIC TAN BUT I DIDNT WANT TO DRIVE 15 MIN TO GET THERE IN N. RALEIGH. WELL I FINALLY BROKE DOWN AND DROVE OVER THERE. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE DRIVE. I GOT THE BEST TAN FROM A LOW PRESSURE BED THAT IVE EVER GOTTEN AND THE STAFF WAS AWSOME. I FEEL LIKE IM GOING INTO CHEERS WERE EVERY ONE KNOWS YOUR NAME. AND IVE NEVER HAD TO WAIT FOR A BED THEY HAVE LIKE 20 SOMETHING LOW PRESSURE BEDS. (PS BED 6 IS MY FAVORITE).

I was vacationing in Raleigh for the holidays from California. I noticed Exotic Tan Salon. When I stopped, I had a great experience. The staff were the friendliest that I have ran into here. I totally enjoyed visiting with them. I will be going back until I leave. Next summer, you can bet I will be stopping by again. Thanks,
