Schiano's on Strickland Road: I'm not sure what they're doing to their crust, but it is not good. We've ordered pizza from this restaurant 3-5 times since they've opened this store, and it's not the same as the Schiano's on Glenwood. The crust in the center of the pizza was so soggy that you couldn't pick up the pizza, you had to eat it with a fork and knife, and it was not tasty at all. The crust was very thin and cardboard like, there was no cheese around the outside of the pizza, just dumped in the middle. We've given this Schiano's a few tries too many, I'd order somewhere else, like Tony's on Glenwood & Ebenezer, they have very decent NY style pizza. Don't waste your money here.

We have searched for good pizza since we moved hereb4 years ago. They cook there sauce and it shows. Decent value.

always good. very friendly. I discovered them approx. 9 years ago and they're still my favorite in Raleigh.

Schianos is the only pizza we eat anymore - the sauce is amazing and delivery is always fast. The service is as good as the pizza - friendly staff and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure satisfaction ... Schianos is the greatest.

but that would be the only reason to go. I ordered a pie and an antipasto salad and the salad didn't even have onion. And it had bologna instead of salami!!! $6 for iceberg lettuce, a couple of carrots some pizza cheese and one slice of tomato. Pizza is OK though.

This is some of the best pizza in Raleigh I have ever had. My boyfriend and I just love it. Since tyring it we haven't had pizza from any other place.

This is horrible pizza, on the level of Cici's. If you think CiCi's is good, you will probably like this. We were starving when we went to Schiano's, so we ate enough to be able to curb our hunger. If we had not been so hungry, we would have eaten only two bites and left. This is the worst independent (non-chain) pizza we have ever tasted. Definitely skip it.

Go here for good pizza that is inexpensive and don't be afraid to try something different too. Calzones are to die for! And they take credit cards now!!

pizza like you get in NY; cheesy and not too much sauce. Great sandwiches like chicken parm and veal parm. Not much on looks but worth it
