Maddonna61, Get a grip. The YMCA has been around for a lot longer then eather of us. They are a great organization that does a lot of good for many people. I myself learned to swim through the Y. as have many others. As far as any Religous implications you mentioned, Freedom of Religion is one of the Foundations of Our Great Nation, so I suggest to you, with all due respect, If you don't like what the YMCA stands for, then go join Balleys Fitness, Golds Gym or any other fine establishment and go on with your life and quit demoralizing the beleifs of others, Especially if no one is hurting you.
