That was my first time there and probably my last. The choice of menu items was not great, the service was not far from it. We only had drinks but a good thing because there was only another couple sitting at a table and it was like 30 minutes before they got their food. So all four of us had a couple drinks a piece and left to go somewhere else to eat. I would not recommend this establishment to anybody except to check the view out.
Pros: view, good parking

Great View. Great Potential. Need to advertise to get a larger draw. Rarely crowded.

We dined at the Top of the Plaza recently after being away for over a year. The view is as good as ever, but the food and service have gone downhill dramatically. Despite an almost-empty restaurant at 7:00 on a Friday (that should have clued us in), the service was slow and the waiter got one order wrong and forgot the soup that my wife ordered. When the food did arrive, we were all disappointed. My supposedly medium-rare Prime Rib was medium well and cold. My wife's crab stuffing was almost pure bread with little or no crab; my son was presented with a tough, almost inedible section of ribs instead of the baby backs he was expecting. If we hadnt already been late for the performance, we would have sent everything back to the kitchen. We were very disappointed and will not return.
