I went to Victorian Rose just the other day and had the best time and a lot of laughs with the staff... I am getting married in October so I am in a time crunch.. Other bridal stores made me feel like a bad bride because I didn't have a gown and wanted to shop around. But here at Victorian Rose they helped me and made me feel like a princess bride.. The manager and bridesmaids mananger helped me pick out my gown even called the designer to see if we had to do a rush on it... They were so helpful I cant wait for my gown to come in.... I would recommend this shop to anyone who wants to be treated like a bride not just a customer.. And to the last comment about customer service is sooo wrong the staff is GREAT!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: GREAT STAFF, GREAT GOWNS, PARKING LOT

Cons: NONE

For such an exciting time in a bride's life---this was the worst experience we had. The staff is rude and unattentive. The owner/manager of the shop needs to select another business where being a total witch is acceptable. This is the South where manners and service are a way of life especially in the Bridal Business. Beautiful dresses but find them else where.

Pros: great location

Cons: Rude staff

I went to Victorian Rose bridals recently in search of the perfect gown. And I found it within the first twenty minutes of trying on gowns.... I was working with the manager and she was wonderful.. Even the owner came out to tell me how wonderful I look in my gown.. Everyone at victorian rose is so great.. I have already started alterations and the seamstress is perfect. I cant wait to walk down the aisle in my perfect gown... I would recommend Victorian Rose to everyone I kmow.....

Pros: great customer service, great gowns, wonderful staff

I would absolutely NOT recocommend VRB to anyone. I did love the dress but the customer service and quality was hideous. I lived out of town and was having a destination wedding. VRB kept rescheduling the appointments that we would make and I would have to constantly rearrange my schedule. Then I had the final fitting and took the dress drove 3 hours away to my parents house and put the dress on once and my mom went to zip it up and the zipper was disconnected from the dress. I had to drive 3 hours back the next day unable to pick his parents up from the airport that were flying in from Australia and they were not apologetic and had the audacity to ask me "and why do you need this today". They were wanted me to leave it and come back the next day. Even though the wedding was in two day and there was travel involved, not to mention I do not live in Raleigh. Then the owner gave me the dress and said "so I heard that you managed to rip your dress in one day". Completely and utterly rude. If you are not able to put your dress on once without the zipper separating from the dress there is a serious quality issue. I am just so thankful that did not happen on the wedding day when I could not take it back. Not that I would expect an apology if it did.

Pros: Beautiful dresses

Cons: Horrible Customer Service

I went to Victorian Rose Bridals 3 days after my engagement and immediately felt comfortable and welcomed. I happened to work with the owner that day and had the best "bridal" experience I could hav eever wanted. Not only did I get great personal attention, but I did not feel like I had to "take a number" and I did NOT feel pressured to buy! Not only was the selection beyond my dreams, but the prices were unreal! These are beautiful, couture gowns ( made of beautiful fabrics) at a very reasonable price. When I tried on my gown, I thought it was going to be $5000 or more, but it was in my price range! I was so delighted with the whole experience, and love that it is a one stop shop. I brought my mom in a few days later, and she was also pleased with the shop, customer service, and value of gowns. I plan on getting all my bridemaids, mother of the bride, shoes, veil, etc. Not to mention, alterations are in house and the best in town (I've doen my research)! I have been recommending VRB to everyone! I even stop in from time to time to say hi because the consultants and owner are so sweet:) They truely have made me feel like a princess, even after I bought the gown.

Pros: Friendly personal service, great selection & prices, one stop shop

Cons: none

I went to Victorian Rose this weekend and had such a wonderful time...The gowns are gorgues and all the sales girls are so sweet. It was my first time ever looking at gowns and they took the time and helped me find a gown that was best for my body... I ended up finding something and with my wedding so soon I could not order it with out being stressed about time so I bought the floor sample.. I was also able to start alterations the same day ... They have everything here I got my dress, shoes, veil and alterations with no stress.. I would recommend Victorian Rose to everyone I know..

Pros: sale people great customer service

Cons: none

I have never written to a review as I have always felt that those who are negative created their situaltion and those that are positive are probably the staff of the shop that they are writing about. Victorian Rose Bridals gave my daughter a used dress. I am not sure how to prove it yet - but we paid extra for a fast delivery and the day that we went in to see it - I noticed that the floor sample was not on the floor. My daughter got into the dress and it fit well but I noticed that it was filthy, especially underneath in the layers. I mentioned something about it but the salesperson and the owner told my daughter "bless your heart, you are so cute and so beautiful" and that "everything is fine" that I did not have the heart to keep continuing with my concerns. This is the most important day of my daughter's life - I may not be able to correct this situation at the moment but I inted to at some point. I do not know if this is a concern for the attorney general or for one of our local television investigation team, but I do know that this is wrong. I highly recommend going somewhere else - everyone deserves a beautiful "new" wedding gown for that special day. No one deserves what is happening to my daughter.

Pros: Appeared to have wonderful selection, parking is excellent

Cons: Lack of honesty

The dresses were good prices but I had some serious complaints. First and foremost, I had an appointment for 3pm and was literally ignored by everyone in the store (including the owner) for the first 30 minutes I was in the store, despite asking for help. The first priority of the associates is to SELL not help, like at other salons. The woman who was helping me lied about the material of the dress (it was 100% polyester when I looked at the tag myself, not silk like she said) and also about the need to buy the dress that day. After dropping hints the hour I was trying on dresses, she eventually said "I would hate you to fall in love with a dress to have it discontinued." My mom went and asked the owner how often this happens and she said rarely if ever. Then the saleswoman berated me, telling me I was stupid for not buying a dress that day. Overall, the staff was classless and rude, not the environment you want for buying a wedding dress.

I went to Victorian Rose about a week ago and found my gown, bridesmaids and flowergirl dress all in one stop. My wedding is in April so I knew I had to get going on making a decision. Every other store I went to keep telling me they couldn't help or that I would most likely would not get my gown in on time. The staff at Victorian Rose never made me feel like I was a bad Bride( like the other stores) . The staff is so helpful, once I picked out my gown the bridesmaid specialist came in to help find a bridesmaid dress that would go with my gown and fit all different body types,I was just amazed by how wonderful everything is at Victorian Rose. If I knew it was going to be this easy i would of started looking a lot sooner.

Pros: different style gowns, great prices, amazing staff

Cons: none

the first time i went to victorian bridal was to try on bridesmaids dresses with my sister. it was nearing closing time, and the shop girls were more interested in putting the dresses away and getting out of there than helping us. literally, no one spoke to us. i was initially very turned off. but then i went back with my mother (who is horrible at making a decision). she must have tried on every dress in the store. the women working that day were much more helpful (and patient), and my mom eventually wound up purchasing her dress there. it was way more money than she wanted to spend, but it was a gorgeous gown. they do have a great selection of dresses for all occassions - especially if money is no object. it's probably my second favorite bridal store after traditions.

Pros: location, selection

Cons: don't go near closing time
