There are more popular theaters around, and some even have better screens. But since I'm past the age where I think standing in line for theater tickets is fun, I've come to appreciate the Park Place's wide selection of movies, abundant parking, and lack of crowds. I've never had to wait much for a movie here, and the experience has always been pleasant (other than having to listen to the occasional moviegoer who hasn't quite figured out that they're not in their own living room...but you find such folk everywhere). Sure, it's odd to consider a 16-plex a neighborhood theater, but the park place fits the bill.
Pros: uncrowded, good parking
Cons: average concessions
