I received the wrong prescription and young dr. refused to accept the problem(s) I had with the contact lenses. Went elsewhere to competent (even less expensive) drs. who listened to the problem, analyzed all the options, and solved it. Don't waste your time and money here. NOT RECOMMENDED.

Cons: my experience was a waste of time and money

I have not gone to this optometrist, but I find it AWFULLY suspicious that three postings (that coincidientally just RAVE about this optometrist) were all posted on the same date. I find it hard to believe that three people would all have exams on the same day and ALL decide to post on Citysearch the very same day!

If you need an eye exam in Chapel Hill- go here! The doctor is excellent- and very thorough. I left smiling because the staff was so friendly and nice. Best customer service I've seen in a medical office yet. I highly recommend this practice.

The doctor and staff at chapel hill eyecare were very helpful from start to finish. It was my first visit with them and they made me feel like ive been a patient there for many years. They have a great selection of frames too. I would reccommend them to anyone.

I've been going to Chapel Hill Eyecare for five years and I love the treatment that I get when I go there. I think they are very meticulous and I have never felt I was just another number. The staff have always been patient and knowledgeable when they take me to the prep area to do tests before I see the doctor. The exams are extremely thorough and Ive never felt that the doctor was trying to rush through my exam just to get finished to move on to the next patient. Also, I have always found that the doctor answers my questions fully and she never, ever talks down to me or makes me feel that any questions I have are stupid. I like going here (in fact I drive over an hour to come here); I firmly believe they are fully committed to providing really excellent personalized care.

Having worn glasses / contacts for 59 years, it is my impression from all the exams contacts, glasses the I have had that there is not a finer place to obtain your glasses / contacts / eye exam than from Chapel Hill Eyecare. The staff is friendly and helpful, the service is great, and they care about YOU! What more can be said? I would highly recommend them for all of you eye care needs. OK, three reviews in one day -- partly my fault. Was appalled at the first review and at my last visit talked to other patients and told the of the review... so therefore, the three. My last visit a couple of days ago was just as satisfying as all my other visits. So loyal customers, when shown/told of a review that is not correct respond.

After being examined, I received my glasses with an incorrect prescription several days later. The Rx was significantly off, yet the doctor would not take full responsibility for it, saying perhaps I answered the "that's better, that's worse" questions incorrectly! I'm not a three-year-old child!! She briefly re-examined me and ordered new lenses, charging me 50% of the cost for them!!! Then, if that weren't enough, the frames they "fitted" me with are way too large for my face -- something I only learned now after being properly fitted at another optometry office. The center of the lens doesn't even sit in front of my eyes. The man who "helped" with the frames was fakey nice and then rude when I came back in to tell them my lens Rx was wrong the next day. Bad experience for me all around.
