As a New Yorker who lived in Chapel Hill 25 years ago, Iwas surprisingly pleased to find Sal's. Now, as a Connecticut resident who retruns to Chapel Hill every 6 months, I'm shocked to find that as the Pizza quality in NY has declined over the years, the best NY Pizza you can find is in Chapel Hill NC!! We never miss Sal's during our visits and often squeeze in two trips. It truly is the best NY Pizza around.
