I was introduced to Phase II during a fraternity meeting. I was at a point in my life (50) where I no longer liked what my body looked like in the mirror. After my initial four month program, I saw great results. I lost 30 pounds and gain three belt holes. I had six suits, one blazer, and fourteen pair of pants altered. This was a great experience for me and I felt great about my appearance. I utilized the weights on Monday and Wednesday and worked on my cardio on Fridays. It has now been eleven months of physical training. And toned I am. I had Brian C. for my trainer. I liked the atmosphere and the equipment was more than adequate to help me reach my objectives. I appreciated the encouragement that I was getting from my trainer and its staff. The men's bathroom was very clean and comfortable. I could easily bring my work clothes with me and leave for work afterwards. The staff was very courteous and the conversation with the staff and other fitness participants was enjoyable.

Pros: Staff

Cons: Overbooking occassionally

If you are serious about training, forget this place. The core clientele is flabby houswives from Cary, and it probably serves that market pretty well. The equipment is for the most part old and in poor condition. In fact, most of it should be junked or given to a thrift shop. The trainers seem decent but are generally bored, probably because of the low expectations they have for their clients. You won't find any triathletes, marathoners, bodybuilders, or serious athletes wasting their time and money here. Instead, it's a bunch of fat people chatting with their bored trainers while top 40 radio plays in the background on a thirty year old sound system.

Pros: Fairly cheap for a personal training facility

Cons: Poor equipment, inadequate and dirty showers, just generally run down

I have been going to Phase II in Cary for quite some time now, and I must say I really enjoy my training sessions. The staff is great, it's a fun atmosphere, and most importantly I have seen great results in a short period of time. This was exactly what I was looking for in personal training. I highly recommend Brian C. (my trainer) - he's awesome! You can't go wrong here.

I started at Phase II in Cary in October 2005. You couldn't ask for a friendlier, more helpful staff. My trainer is Ally and she is terrific! She makes sure my workout is tailored to MY needs not just some workout from a book.

Pros: Great Staff

Cons: None

I started my personal fitness program with a trainer here based on a recommendation from a friend. I must say that I have been more then pleased. The environment is comfortable and extremely friendly, and the staff are truly concernend about your health and fitness level. Decent prices for personal trainers in this area! I'd recommend this facility to anyone who's interested in making a lifestyle change, and needs a little help!

Pros: Friendly Environment, Convienent Hours, Good Location
