If you are mexican or hispanic please dont go to this restaurant..why? its funny but..if you are mexican they treat you like a bag of garbage...they talk in a nasty tone of voice, they dont even ask if the mexicano customer is ok, and also be very careful if you spend only $5 euros they charge you for $10 dollars. as if you dont have any money to pay the bill...but when they seee a BOLILLO OR Gringito...god has arrived on earth...I was there once and a white lady arrived the waitress told her " bienvenida amiga" for the non-spanish speakers " welcome my friend" and the lady told the waitress " NO amiga, customers, keep your distance..." THe waitress wants to clean the white customer's arse...MExicanos y Mexicanas, go to fiesta mexicana if you want to be treated like a bolillo....that restaurant is truly color blind.

Pros: If white go for it..you'll be treated like the queen of England.

Cons: Mexicanos y Mexicanos, digan NO.

I went here for my birthday with my family, which includes my husband and our two-year-old daughter. This is a very family-friendly place. There were at least four other families with young children in the restaurant when we were there. We went on a Saturday evening, and it was fairly full but not crowded. The restaurant is in a strip mall on Kildaire Farm Road. From the outside, it looks like a "joint," but inside, the ambiance is better than your average Mexican place. It's clean and there's a sports bar attached, so they have sports playing on a huge plasma TV on the wall. I didn't care about that, but if your hubby is giving you a hard time about going out for dinner, that is a good persuasion tool. The salsa here was delicious. In most Mexican places, the salsa is like tomato sauce--fairly bland and tasteless. This salsa was spiced perfectly and it wasn't too thick or overwhelmingly hot. The food, in general, was awesome. They have a large children's menu, which includes both Mexican options and traditional American items. The best part is that the prices were surprisingly low. For my husband, my daughter, and me, it was $35, including tip. I got a margarita, which was HUGE, for only $6. And unlike many places, they actually put rum in it. Also, my husband is a vegetarian, and there was a whole page of items for just vegetarians. He really enjoyed his meal, and he's not a big fan of Mexican food. Overall, this was a great dining experience. We will definitely go back.

Pros: Great food, family-friendly, good value for money, many vegetarian options

Cons: Not romantic

Although my family was seated before two other groups (which were Mexican), Server waited on those tables choosing to ignore us. When we complained to the Manager, he just said Sarcastically "too bad." We haven't been back.

Cons: Poor service.

Average food at best, bland salsa, and slow and unfriendly customer service. They claim that kids eat free with purchase of adult meal. When I checked out they refused to give me this deal because I had ordered the daily special. I didn't realize I had ordered the special, I ordered off the menu. So instead of charging me $0.45 more for my meal they charged me $2.95 for my daughter's. When I complained the cashier told me I would need to speak to the manager - but she was busy at the moment. I told the cashier they had lost a customer, and her reply was that she only worked there. A perfect example of their customer 'service'.

FRAUDULENT CHARGES WERE ADDED TO MY CREDIT CARD WITHOUT MY CENSENT. BE VERY CAREFUL AND ONLY PAY WITH CASH IF YOU MUST EAT THERE!!!

Cons: THEY ADD EXTRA MONEY TO YOUR BILL AFTER YOU LEAVE WITHOUT YOUR CONSENT!

After living in Mexico for three years, I have come to terms with the fact that there is no such thing as "authentic Mexican food" in the Triangle. That aside, Torero's is great. The salsa is amazingly good (a little too good!!! I overeat every time!). The portions are huge. Service is usually pretty good, but they occasionally need an extra hand on the floor. I am pretty impressed with their tacos, which are offered with two soft tortillas and a little meat, which is much more similar to authentic than these huge meaty, sour cream, lettuce, and cheese filled American things that we call tacos.

Pros: food, service, price

We went in the middle of the afternoon on Father's day and the service was not good at all. They were clearly understaffed (waiters running around) and we were pretty much ignored throughout our meal. Two large tables near us ordered well after we did, but got their food quite a bit before us. The food was below average for mexican food with the fresh chip salsa being the highlight of the meal. The only plus was the size of the portions. At our normal resturaunt, we NEVER have to ask for more chips or drink refills - not true here.

Pros: Portion Size, Fresh Salsa

Cons: Poor service, Slow service
