I have never taken the time to write a review like this, but I am absolutely compelled to do it for Ron at Stonehaven. A few months ago I decided I was going to propose to the love of my life (awww sweet ain't it?). I like to draw and design things so I came up with a unique ring design and showed it to several jewelery designers all over the triangle. Out of all of the designers I spoke with, Ron at Stonehaven was the only one who really took the time to find out what the design was all about, what I was trying to communicate, and why each element was important. Most other guys quickly glanced at my design and said, "Yah - I think we can do something like that. Now let's look at some diamonds." Ron, did some quick sketchwork over-top of my design to roughly communicate his ideas for improving it (so that it met my requirements even better) and I felt like I had found someone with a real passion for what he does. I was sure I was in good hands. Once he started actually building the ring I had to just trust that he was going to come back with something great. All I had to go on was that one rough sketch, so I was pretty anxious. When you give someone a bunch of money to build you something so personal and so important, it's hard to be confident that you're going to get exactly what you're hoping for when someone tells you, "Trust me. You're going to love it." I picked up the finished ring 4 days ago and I'm absolutely thrilled to death with it. It is PERFECT. It is a beautiful and unique piece of artwork, that makes my vision a reality. Not only is it beautiful, but Ron also considered the wearers experience. He made sure that each stone was set in a way that maximized the sparkle, and made sure that the ring would be durable and comfortable to wear. This was perhaps the best customer experience I've ever had. Every one of my expectations were exceeded. I will recommend Stonehaven to anyone who so much as mentions jewelry from now on.

My wife has a ring and bangle bracelet that Ron at Stonehaven designed. The ring is a concave facet yellow beryl with diamonds. The bangle bracelet is flush set with diamonds. We also have a cut Ametrine stone that I’m confident that he will create a stunning necklace from. Also, Ron is very easy to work with. In the future, when I think of what to do for special occasions, my first thought will be to go to Stonehaven!

I have 3 pieces of jewelry that Ron Londholz at Stonehaven Jewelry designed and created for me - 2 necklaces and a pair of earrings. I LOVE having one-of-a-kind jewelry that I don't have to worry about seeing on every other person. The detail and design are beautiful and I ALWAYS get compliments when I wear the pieces. After 14 years of marriage, my husband finally learned the trick - he gives Ron his budget and let's him work his magic. If you want to WOW your wife (fiance, girlfriend, etc) Stonehaven is definitely worth it.

I've bought jewelry on three continents for my wife. I've had it with the "mall" jewelry store (she's had it too). Even at the "old money" stores where you can buy jewelry, porcelain AND silver, the selection seems rather tired. When I could finally afford an appropriate engagement ring (after fifteen years of marriage), it had to be perfect. She hates diamonds. She hates conventional settings. She has an artsy eclectic flair. Stonehaven's Ron Lodholtz filled all previous voids and satisfied our wants - an incredible stone in a killer setting within an indestructible ring. Ron took a lot of time personally to show us his work, the spectrum of stones available, and pieces he has built . We couldn't have been more pleased with the ring - it is simply stunning. PS - Stonehaven throws a really great open house too.
