BrandyWine Cellars has unmatched selection at a wide range of prices. Almost anyone can go and find a bottle in his/her price range. After purchasing 30+ bottles of wine there since the store opened 3-4 months ago, we have yet to taste bad wine. In fact, the wine we have purchased there has been well above average or outstanding. Go to the free tastings on Saturday afternoons (2-5pm, but times may change), and the prices get even better. Brandy, the owner, and her Mom (Joyce) are extremely friendly and helpful. They bend over backwards to help us find the right wines for certain occasions. Brandy knows wine but isn't a bit pretentious about it, which in my experience isn't usually the case for wine shops of BrandyWine quality. If you are in the Southpoint area, drop by BrandyWine Cellars for a glass of wine. You can sit down at one of the tables, have Brandy pop the cork on a bottle, enjoy the wine right there in the store if you wish, and chat with Brandy and Joyce. We only met them a few weeks ago but have gotten to know them pretty well because they are definitely not afraid to talk. Basically, I highly recommend trying out this wine shop...I think you'll be glad you did.
Pros: great selection, all price ranges, friendly & knowledgeable owner/operator, drink-wine-in-store option
Cons: none i can think of

All I can say is WOW!! This place is so sophisticated, elegant, and inviting. It looks like something from "The Rich and Famous", but the prices are so reasonable. The selection is just enormous!. The staff is so curteous and friendly. It's really worth stopping by. A great place to shop for wine.
Pros: atmosphere welcoming, relaxing, unhurried

This quaint, yet sophisticated wine store is perhaps the best in the Raleigh-Durham area. Brandy, the owner / operator, is extremely friendly and knowledgeable about her wines, and always goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable in her store. The wines are beautifully displayed along the walls with a modern-looking wine bar in the center. The selection is good with several wines from each major region including California, Italy, France and Australia. You can also find excellent wines from Argentina and Austria! The prices are very reasonable, especially compared to other stores in the area. Perhaps what I like the most is the selection of not only the quality wines you see everyday, but also several wines from small producers that are also priced very well. Brandy does an excellent job in recommending these unique wines based on your palate that makes finding new wines exciting. Friday night and Saturday tastings are apparently coming soon. I'm certainly looking forward to it!
Pros: knowledgeable staff, convenient location, neat displays and bar
Cons: none I can think of so far
