After doing my homework and reading reviews on dermals the only studio in the area that got rave reviews was pro*gress. Still skeptical of mangled holes and killer infections I made an appointment with Seth. I am panic attack prone when it comes to needles, so you can imagine my state of being walking in to get a dermal piercing at the base of my neck! When I walked in the first thing i noticed was how open and soothing the waiting area was! Just a couple of couches and chairs, coffee tables, and awesome piercing art on the walls! Not only was it inviting it smelled clean......really clean! Seth did an awesome job at explaining the process, care, and jewelry options for the specific piercing i was going to get. He used very soft soothing music during the procedure, and used breathing techniques to ease the tension! VERY HELPFULL!!! Before being pierced at pro*gress I had bought a few pieces of organic jewelry from Them. I was so impressed by the jewelry. I had never found anything that could compare... Long story short....If you are in the market for a piercing....do you skin and health a favor.....go with the best! Get it done right the first time and avoid unnecassary pain and scarring! LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!
Pros: waiting lounge, layout, ambience, experience, peace of mind!
