User Reviews for Bliss Salon

5 Star Rating: Highly Recommended

Bliss has such a relaxed atomosphere, you know you are getting excellent service! I have never felt rushed or overlooked as I used to in big salons in the area. Ronda sees the potential and asks the right questions to help you get the cut you want while improving your look. I am no longer frustrated by terrible hair days as I approach my next appointment, and I'm getting it cut less often!

Pros: Service, personality, and results

Cons: None.

William is the best hair artist I have ever visited! Let's just say I'm a baby boomer who has been through all of the flattened hair, big hair, spiral-permed hair, the "shag," and many other hair trends in my life. Thanks to William, his talent, advice and care for my delicate natural curls, I can now appreciate what God gave me. I never thought I had the kind of curls that could go natural, but he has taught me how to care for them and make them look soft, defined and frizz-free (most days). That's quite an accomplishment in this NC humidity! No one has ever known how to cut my hair to bring out the curl in areas where it just wants to go limp, until I found William. I am no longer the poster child for problem hair, as one of my straight-haired friends once said. Just the other day, a stranger stopped me as I was coming out of an elevator and exclaimed, "Beautiful Hair!" He also pampers me - when I leave Bliss, I feel like I've been to a day spa! The name of the salon is truly justified. I hesitate to write a glowing review when I find a business this good, because I'm afraid everyone else will find it too. But, I know William will take care of me. He has gone out of his way to accommodate my busy schedule, which is something I greatly appreciate. He knows the meaning of customer service and exemplifies it in his work. Thanks, William!

Pros: William is great with naturally curly hair, only serves one customer at a time

Cons: pricier than some, but you get what you pay for

Ronda is excellent. I have worked with her for 3 years and she still amazes me each time I go. She manages to tame what other stylists have not and is always willing to make suggestions. She's great!!!!!!

"K' thanks for the review. This one, we know the person and she is a wonderful lady who has a very, very busy professional life. It is our priviledge to have her as a client. We have been in the beauty business for awhile, so to speak and we see salons come and go, come and go. There are three ingredients that simply cannot be overlooked, compromised or watered down. It has been stated more than once on our website and here on Citysearch. Superb customer service, technical ability and professionalism. Bliss Salon patterns itself from these tenants. Accordingly, our client base continues to grow and grow. Every client has a unique story to tell and a life that is extraordinary. Our sincere thanks to all of them!

Rhonda is very talented and she has a great personality. I was so happy with my hair. The entire experience was the best I have ever had at any salon. Rhonda took her time and created a cut that suits my type of hair and my personal style.

THANKS "C". Happy New Year! We do know that many potential clients read the reviews on Citysearch as a way to find a new salon. Finding the "right" salon and stylist/colorist is indeed, often times perplexing. We also think that one very important "tangible" reasons to think Bliss is this; we have heard time and again from our clients that "my hair looks great and I find I do not have to come in as often" (if you think about it, really SAVES YOU $$$$ because you come in less frequently)! Also, the one-on-one factor! So many of our new clients come from salons that appear to have one thing on their mind....MAXIMIZING REVENUE. When you have the overhead and staff to pay for, the tendency to "overbook" can occur. At Bliss, customer service is key! Common courtesy and customer service is the framework for success.

Ronda is FANTASTIC!!! She donated her services (on her day off) to an Interact client prior to the client's job interview. Here are some comments from the client, whose identity is confidential: She has created a beautiful salon, or more like a retreat, which made my experience one of the best I have ever had. I left out feeling like a new and improved version of myself. This experience was amazing! Ronda is the absolute best!

"D" our policy is to respond to all reviews; good or bad and thankfully we have not had a bad review but it could certainly happen. Bliss believes that to be a successful salon, and there are many superb salons in the Triangle comes down to much, much more than the "salon itself". Customer service, technique, listening and suggesting are what a client really wants in a salon and stylist. The human factor is the key to the equation. In the last six months, there has been a significant increase in new clients from "transplanted" folks coming from DC, NYC, Philly and Chicago. They of course EXPECT stellar service and regard hair and color as critical in their job, appearance, etc. We also looked at our client AGE PROFILE....interesting as well, truly diverse, from 18 years old on up! That is a good thing as well. Bliss....NOT the biggest salon but that is not our desire. Our forte' is providing quality hair and color service to our valued clients. Thanks "D".

My new haircut and color has just been the most fun, well-received style I have ever had in my whole existence. I’m passing out Ronda's card like crazy. She is so amazingly talented!! I gave Ronda lots of lattitude with color and cut since I've been going to her for a year and have loved each new idea she incorporated. My new style is exactly what I have always wanted – an edgy style that is still very pretty (hard to imagine , I know!) that has tons of options and makes me look and…. most importantly feel… younger and better about myself. I kinda feel like rock star..which is not easy for a mommy. Thank you, Ronda, for the thoughtful, creative, and confident artistry you put into my hair !!!

Pros: she's friendly and fun and sooo talented

Cons: none

Growing....

Thanks "K" for the most appreciative review! There are many, many fine salons and studios in the Triangle. As stated before....you have a choice. Accordingly, we truly value our clients and reviews they provide. We are very aware that after you strip off the lights, the mirrors, the hardwood floors, it still comes down to the "human element"; that is the stylist/colorist behind the chair. The #1 issue facing salon owners today is finding talent! At Bliss, profit margins are important, but superior customer service is much more so. Staying small and intimate allows us to do just that. It's clients like yourself writing the reviews that make the "whole thing" worthwhile!

I'm so glad I found Rhonda. I moved here from DC 4 years ago and couldn't find anyone to cut my short hair. If you are a woman (or a man) with short hair, Rhonda is it! I love my cut and my color--and the price was really reasonable, especially considering her years of experience. Thank you!

Pros: great ambience

Local and transplants!

Thanks "I"! Referrals and solid customer service works. We truly appreciate your business and review. One thing that is critical....continued education. Ronda recently attended the Midwest Beauty Show in Chi-town and had some GREAT color classes. As the number of clients continue to grow from both local and "transplanted" channels; i.e. DC, NYC; our goal is to continue to keep the customer service and attention focused on the client, first and foremost! For another day...."why should someone go to a higher-end salon" for their services?

My hair is naturally curly, thick and frizzy. I've had relaxers applied on it for over 30 years. Once I had to start coloring the grey and relaxing my hair, it began breaking and falling out. William at Bliss Hair Salon has been the only one I have ever had to truly know how to manage my hair. I've gone to him for over a year and a half. He colors my grey, but has not relaxed or straightened my hair with any straighteners thus far to get it back to good health. But the remarkable thing is that my hair has felt silkier, straighter and shinnier than it has ever looked or been throughout my entire life! William just has a great talent and knowledge in managing difficult hair to make one look their very best. I'm 51 years old. But people always think I'm 38 to 42. I sent out Christmas cards last year for the first time with my picture included in the family photo with my two college students. Remarkably, friends who had not seen me in 30 years, didn't know who was Mom or who was daughter. It's all because of my artistic hair specialist!! William makes me feel like a million bucks! I can't thank him enough for the self esteem and great happiness he has brought me. I'm truly Blessed for Williams care at Bliss!!

Pros: William makes his own appointments and only takes care of one client at a time.

I have naturally curly hair... the kind that never curls the way you want it to..... it's just curly enough to be annoying but not curly enough to be awesome on it's own! You know what I mean if you have hair like that! William is amazing!! He is an expert in working with curly hair and truly an artist when it comes to color. I have been to many salons and been through many stylists and I have never been satisfied..... until I met William! I highly recommend him and any salon he is affiliated with.... he will only work with the best because he is the best!!!
