I don't think I've ever written a negative review of a restaurant before, but my recent experience certainly warrants this one. I ate at An shortly after it opened and found it just so-so. I ate there again recently, and while the decor is nice, I would not recommend this place to anyone. The food is OK, but it is definitely overpriced. I was talked into ordering more than I could eat, and the service was unbelievably SLOW. There were about 45 minutes between the appetizers and main course, during which time our server was nowhere to be found. No bread refills, no updates on our order, no nothing until we flagged the server down. I don't mind paying for good food, but I do mind paying $50 for a glass of wine and two sushi rolls that were not worth the money. A lot of other people seem to like this place, but my husband and I will not return.
