I recently took my vehicle to Autohaus Imports to get an oil change. I was happy with the the service until I returned to my car to leave. The mechanics had rolled down my back window, which would not go back up. I went back inside to explain the situation, and the person at the desk refused to accept responsibility, saying his mechanic did not remember rolling the window down and that I broke it myself. I ended up speaking with the owner who also refused to take responsibility, leaving me with a $300 repair at another shop. I would not recommend doing businees with anyone who will not take take responsibility for their own actions or the actions of their employees. My car was returned to me damaged, and they did not offer as much as an apology. Needless to say, no one should do business with someone of such low moral character.

Pros: none

Cons: they damaged my car and refused to fix it

Autohaus ALWAYS assumes full responsibility for any work performed in our shop. Occasionally, there are component failures that have absolutely nothing to do the the work being performed that are brought to our attention after the fact, and although we attempt to work through these situations with the customer, ultimately, we cannot be responsible for them. In this case, we performed a routine oil change, and the customer contended that we somehow broke his LEFT REAR window regulator in the process. BMW's (the vehicle in question) have had a known problems with window regulators for years, and the customer stated to us that he had replaced other window regulators in this car in the past. Often, we offer discounted parts/labor to soften the blow of an unexpected repair, but in this case, the customers insistence on our negligence and full financial responsibility left us unable to resolve the issue.

I first became acquainted with Autohaus Import Service after I purchased my car from Olde Raleigh Motors several years ago. And, since that time they have been the ONLY auto repair shop to whom I would even consider entrusting the care of "My Baby". From my very first visit, I was greeted by warm, smiling staff who made it clear to me that they were as interested in the care and maintenance of my new car as I was. Time and again, they have delivered on their promises, completing work at the promised times, at a price congruent with their quotes, and have really helped me both understand the nature, cause, and necessity of the work they have performed, as well as the importance of future work which might be required. They have done all of this, the entire time, while making every possible accomodation to help me maintain my vehicle in good working order, on a timeframe which meets the demands of my schedule, and at a pace and price which my budget can accomodate. The entire staff not only really cares about their clients and the services they perform, they care about your car and your safety, and their commitment to your satisfacting does not end when you leave their parking lot! Their commitment to my satisfaction after I have left with my car keeps me singing their praises to everyone! I travel between 35,000 and 45,000 miles each year in my car, and I depend on it for my livelihood. At well beyond the 150,000 mile mark on my odometer, I realize that the service my car has received from Autohaus is perhaps the biggest reason why I am not planning to enter the market for a new car at any time in the forseeable future. That, no doubt, is certainly an additional savings to me, but the peace of mind I have in the excellent care the people at Autohaus have given both my vehicle and me, is a savings which no amount of money could quantify! Thanks for the years of great service, guys. And I wish you every continued (and very much deserved) future success!

Pros: Quality Work, Excellent Service, Honest, Fair Price, Gret Value - INTEGRITY ALL AROUND!

Cons: None I can think of!

I lucked into Autohaus when I purchased both of my BMWs from Olde Raleigh and have been a customer for almost 3 years. During that time I have found a number of things to be true about Autohaus: 1) The technicians really know there stuff! I have had some obscure BMW defects show up that even the dealer couldn't figure out but these guys cracked it and charged me a fair price in the process, 2) These guys are as honest as the day is long. I've had some repairs that they were more than fair on and they also stand by their warranties, 3) They put the customer first and are willing to explain everything fully and go out of their way to get you the best price possible even though the easiest route would be to get a new part from the dealer at the maximum price. I have always viewed repair shops with a bit of trepidation because fraud is so rife in that industry but I have to say that Autohaus has restored my faith in independent repair shops. It's hard to find quality work, honest people and customer service all rolled into one these days but these qualities exist in full display at Autohaus. My compliments to the whole team for a job well done!

Pros: Quick Turnaround, Reasonable Cost, Friendly and Competent Service

Cons: None of which I can think

I have found Autohaus Imports to be a very professional and honest auto repair business. The times I have taken my BMW there for service I have been treated with courtesy and they always take the time to describe what is wrong and what it will cost to fix. Their prices are reasonable also. They have my car back when they say they are going to and call me during the day with progress. The communication is great. The customer service is by far the best I've received.

Purchased and Audi A4 (1996) as a toy, they have been awesome, quotes perfect, work above reproach, honest with integrity and character to match, prices lower than other places I checked with! The only shop I will let work on the Green Hornet! Suggest you give them a try before anyone else in town! AWESOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Pros: They know what they are doing!

Great experience for an independently owned import service shop. The front desk person was very polite and professional. The service advisors had very good customer service. All my service needs were met in a prompt and friendly manner.
