I've been looking for YEARS for someone that would do something I liked with my hair. Found one person but she moved to Charlotte after a few visits and I started my search again. With Lily at Hair Color Xperts I've found my new person and I'm very happy with my hair again! I asked for her opinion and she was very helpful with her ideas for the cut and color. Every morning when I do my hair now, I'm very happy with both the style and color. My daughter went to Lily first and liked her hair, so gave her a great recommendation. She was right and we both have been very pleased!

Pros: Nice shop and atmosphere, my stylist was great!

Cons: None - very pleased overall

Best hairstyle and color ever!!!!! Joanna knows her stuff. She can create exactly what you want and suggests the best ideas. She is an artist!! i have had numerous compliments and I have also given her name out to several people. I WILL BE BACK!! Thanks for all you do Joanna...you are the best!!!

I love this place! I pass many nice salons on my drive there but this is the place for me. I've been going to Cassandra for several years now. She always listens to what I want, even when it's something different and we have to flip through magazines. I've been coloring my hair for over 15 years. Cassandra takes wonderful care of my hair and it's as healthy as ever. She's awesome! The prices may be a little high, but remember you get what you pay for.

Pros: very professional and friendly

Cons: a little pricey, but I don't want a cheap cut.

I have been to many salons to have highlights, low lights and the damage cut out of my over-processed baby-fine hair. Cassondra is the best at maintaining my hair so it looks healthy and naturally sun highlighted. I was referred by a friend and I have been going to her for ~ 4 years. Cassondra genuinely listens to what the customer wants and does her best to make it happen. My cut is always excellent because she does not rush through to get to the next customer. She will work with your schedule as much as possible. I probably shouldn't be writing such a glowing review because I may have a difficult time getting more appointments she will be so busy. Just kidding. The other employees are courteous and friendly and I highly recommend this salon. It seems al womn iare never satisified with their hair but, she makes me feel pretty good about mine. Thanks for all you do Cassondra ! !

This was my first time (subsequently also my last) going to HairColor Experts. As I sat down, my "stylist" and I went over the color that would be best for me, was told that highlights would be great even though I did not want them at this point. We continued on, things went ok, nothing to brag about however, especially for the money spent. When I went to check out, my cell phone rang and the call had to do with work hence I had to take the call. Both the stylist and the front counter "hostess" seemed very put off and thereafter very rude to me. The stylist tried to push off some "clarifying" shampoo on me and the "hostess" made sure that I gave stylist a tip. I know protocol - I did not need to have this rude "woman" tell me what to do. On top of it all, three weeks later, the color was coming out of my hair and my roots were showing. I went somewhere else more professional to have the problem resolved. Needless to say, I was very disappointed with HairColor Experts. It is not worth my time, effort or money to go back. Regarding this place, "caveat emptor" needs to be heeded!

I've been going to Haircolorxperts at Maynard Crossing for about a year now, starting when my stylist, Erin S., began working there. I found Erin about 4 or 5 years ago when my stylist at the time was out of town and I desperately needed a hair cut. I called the salon she worked at at the time and just said to set up an appointment with someone who was good with curly hair, and I got Erin. If you're looking for a talented stylist, I definitely recommend Erin. Not only is she fantastic with my hair (thick and curly) but she is amazing with my best friend's hair as well, which is straight and super thin. In addition to her talent, she's also one of my favorite people ever; always so friendly, and I could sit there for hours and talk to her. Whether it's cut or color, Erin is great at what she does and she truly loves her job. Everyone at Haircolorxperts is friendly and professional and it's just, overall, a great place to go!

Pros: Friendly staff, extraordinary stylist

Cons: You have to book your appointments in advance because it fills up quickly, but this really just shows how talented the stylists are; Amazing work = High demand

I've been a client at haircolorxperts since they opened, in order to follow Michele, who already had been cutting my hair for a couple of years. The people who work there couldn't be more friendly or welcoming. This is my one splurge each month, and it is well worth it. I've just returned home from an appointment, and as usual, Michele has made me look as good as I am capable of looking. She is the best thing that has happened to my hair, color and style-wise. Just ask my mother, who is usually quite stingy with her compliments. She recently said that Michele obviously knows what she is doing, as my hair looks better than it ever has. I just wish my mother lived here, so that Michele could get a hold of her hair. I recommend hcx to anyone who wants to look his or her best.

I've been coming here for a couple years & they do an excellent job. I highly recommend both Laura & Michelle. Haircuts & color are both great. They really know what they're doing & I always trust their opinion on what should be done. It's always a great experience coming here & they do everything to please. :) Laura is particularly good with curly hair & she even does a great job with my 2-year-old's haircuts.

Pros: great service, professional, friendly

Cons: uncomfortable sinks ;)

I had a major hair color disaster and needed color correction so I made an appointment not really knowing anything about the place. I was hoping that according to the name of the salon they could help me. I had an appt. with Alisha, I walked in in tears and in 5 minutes she new exactly what to do and was getting started. Picked out the colros and everything for me. It was super expensive but I required several process to fix my hair and I should NEVER have to do that again. I went in with the worst hair of my life and came out with the best. I have a new stylist too! Alisha was incredible but it seems like all of the stylist there are jsut as highly skilled. You are in good hands at this place! Very friendly and accomadating too.

Pros: Well trained stylist and great atmosphere

Cons: Price is high, but you get what you pay for, totally worth it!

I have never had a better experience in a salon. You come in and are greeted right away and they offer you a great cup of coffee and then you meet your stylist and thry actually listen to you. I have had "consultations" where the stylist just does what they want any way NOT HERE they have always made sure they know exactly what I want. I have been coming here since they opened and I am a customer for life. I usually go to Michele to do my cut and color but if I can't get in with her Laura does a fantastic cut. I have NEVER had a problem with them and I have had some horrible hair experiences including chemical burns. I have been a loyal customer for over 3 years now and will never go to another salon. They are the BEST. I've got my mom, my sisters and my co-workers going to them and they all have gorgeous hair and are never looking back. Even better they have a referal program so I can earn credit towards beautiful hair. Go see them you won't regret it!

Pros: Talented staff, Beautiful environment, clean friendly, I can get an appointment after work and before I go out

Cons: Need to make an appointment with a busy stylist like Michele
