Just last night i went to the ale house with my man it was kind of late everything was fine until about an hour later we were home thank god for that my man started to have severe throwing up and crapping and i dont mean kinda bad it was so bad the throwing up and the crapping happened at the same time every 10 to 15 minutes for 10 hours i was so upset at ale house so i made it a point to call and complain and get my money back it was more about the moral than the money but i felt like we didnt deserve to pay to get sick the manager travis at the creekside location in raleigh nc told me i would have to wait til monday to call their corporation. I just wanted my money back and now i have to go through hoops because they dont want to give me my 30 dollars back i didnt even call the health inspection on them yet i was trying to handle this in a appropriate manner because i have worked in the restaurant business i know this sort of thing happens but now they are making it worse than it has to be! I recommend not to eat at the ale house because it seems like they do not care for their customers and their well being! If you ever are in a situation like that all you want to hear is "Im sorry let us refund your money back" I am now wondering why they are being so defensive about their restaurant like it could never happen to them and that i must be lying. I tell you one thing i wish i was because to see someone you love feel so horrible on their only day off is rough!

Good money paid should yield good, hot food right? The burger was cold, sent it back, and still cold when returned 3 min later. Put it under the fry lamp maybe? The cheese was not even melting a bit. Pay more attention to your staff!!! The young female hostess on Wed, 1/2/08 around 7pm. seating on the non-smoking dining side was visibly uninterested in being there. She is truly doing your business harm. I watched as she acted carelessly aloof the same way with all customers seated. No embelishment here..she walked to booth, dropped the napkins and walked off. No smile, no eye-contact, no thank you...nada. She didnt even wait for your customers to be seated. I would have fired her on the spot! The food was cold, and the manager looked as though he was "one of the boys" hanging out. The Ale House is a great concept, but mgmt, the owners.. truly need to do a surpise walk-in evaluation of this young staff at Briercreek. We will go somewhere else. No reply from you will be regarded as par with the bad experience my group had tonight at your establishment. (submitted to Ale House Customer Feedback webpage on 1/2/08) We will see if a reply is forthcoming..
Pros: Hey...its screens and beers...(many of those around Ral)
Cons: Poor service from hostess. Cold entrees that should be hot, served cold, twice.

I've been to several locations of Carolina Ale House. The original one located off of wake forest road has an atmosphere different than the ones built after it. It is darker and not as large. Anyway, I go to the ale houses for the food and all the televisions they have to watch games. A full order of chicken nachos is usually humongous ! I've never had anything that tasted bad but there are times when I think the portions of desserts should be more generous.
Pros: several locations, good food, variety of food
Cons: dessert portions not generous sometimes

Okay. No offense to their beer selection, their bar food, their atmosphere, or their employees, male and female alike. But if they're number 7 on a list of Raleigh bars with hot waitresses/bartenders, we either need more bars in Raleigh, or better judges of hotness. FYI, the Dive Bar was #4 on the same list. They're very nice at the Falls Alehouse, but hot? Mmmm, not so much. The Alehouse was also listed as 'romantic' on citysearch. Um....again, no offense to the Alehouse. For a sports bar, they're better than most. But if you think it's romantic, you are a pathetic date.
Pros: draft selection, good for a sports bar
Cons: you better like the fraternity crowd.

The Ale House is an extremely neat atmosphere! the hostesses were very welcoming and friendly and our party of 7 got seated quickly. The food was excellent. I thought it would take at least 45 minutes to get it out to us but it was served in a prompt 20 minutes! The staff is very friendly and upbeat.
Pros: great food, friendly staff

Fantastic lay out,eat either inside or outside. Very child friendly-the staff are extremely accomodating with babies, todlers,we have two of our own and always feel welcome. You never have to wait long, even on weekends, due to so much seating areas. The food is varied to suit all taste buds,as well as children menu has a great variety. This is not a romantic place but a layed back place to enjoy either with family or friends.
Pros: Great parking, inexpensive, great atmosphere

While trying to hang with an old friend on a Monday night, a cold batch of cheese fries that we had ordered were served to us. We made the best of it-no scene-and continued to have a good time. Paying the check, we informed the waitress of our displeasment with the food and gave us two free drinks-nice redemption-except called us out for not leaving a tip on the check card receit when we WERE planning to leave a cash one. The manager got involved and it turned ugly from there. Our drinks were taken back and we were asked to leave. Very rude and I told them that I would tell everyone I know not to go there...so don't go there!

Went to dinner with a friend who was visiting me from out of town at the Ale House on Saturday, Feb. 6, 2005. We were enjoying our food and wine. Sadly the night had to end when it was time to close. I had 2 glasses of wine but I am very cautious when it comes to driving so I asked for a glass of water. There were still people there so I didn't feel I was holding anyone up. A tall man(I wished I had gotten his name) came up behind me said "No, they need to leave". I was shocked. On my way out I stopped off at the bathroom and relized I forgot my cell phone at the bar. I went back to get it and that same tall person went in front of me and blocked my way. He said "We are closed". It was horrible.
