Someone told be that the famous chef Morimoto dined here and I was anxious to go and try out for my self. But as soon and I received my food I was really disappointed. I don't know why on earth Morimoto would dine at such a place...I'm sure it was a mistake...because me comming here was a mistake. I'm trying to find one nice thing to say but just cant find the words...if your looking for a place to eat good sushi, there are others places...shame...seems like a such a good location.

This restaurant hopefully won't last...With overpriced sushi, slow kitchen service, hostile waitstaff and management who could care less, the establishment is surpassed by other notable Japanese restaurants such as Sushi Thai in Cary, An and Mizu....Don't waste your money as you can get better food without having an unpleasant dining experience....Being a frequenter of local sushi restaurants and a business owner myself, it is a shame that one can have such a negative experience and to be treated with the amount of disrespect that I have been treated here. It is truly disappointing.

Pros: Average sushi

Cons: Service, prices, ambiance, management, tiny space

Sushi with Attitude?? You bet. I just got back from this restaurant and could not wait to write this review. This is the third time I've been and experienced horrific service. I've noticed that the service has been getting increasingly worse as time has gone on. I used to love this place... and still do love the sushi, but I will not be going back.... ever. Britanny was the straw that has broken the camels back. I'm pretty sure she forgot to put the order in, and after we waited about 45 minutes we asked if the food would be out soon and she responded with attitude. The food then took even longer to come out and we then approched the manager. The manager confronted brittanny in front of us and this made the situation worse. The rest of the night she seemed to serve us with resentment. This ultimatey forced me to appologize to the guest I had brought. It also forced me to leave the worst tip I have ever left. I had a discussion with the manager after we departed and she seemed less than concerned about our experience. The moral of the story is.... Go to Sushi Thai instead.

Pros: Sushi is good and less expensive than Sushi Thai

Cons: Horrible service, Expect attitude from non-ethnic servers.

Wasabi was wonderful!! Let me start by saying that our waitress, Katie, was so sweet, and very attentive(be sure to ask for her!!!). On weekends, wasabi can be busy and a bit crazy, but the staff does the best they can to accommodate you. They need a bigger waiting area, but they do make sure that you have a drink while you wait. I have never had a problem with the restaurant being dirty, however, when a restaurant is busy, you should expect there to be food on the floor, it can not be prevented. They food was amazing, and the service was wonderful. I would reccomend trying the rolls and maybe trying the thai dishes if you are brave enough to handle a little kick. I have been a long time customer at Wasabi and have never had a bad experience. I have had mistakes made on orders, but what place does'nt? I have had worse experiences at fine dining restaurants, so if you have had one here, give it another go, because Wasabi sushi so worth it!!

Pros: Service and food...amazing

Cons: Make reservations..the waiting area is too small

This place used to be great, but what happened?? Maybe it is the crowds that got them to be lax. Upon arriving last time and waiting for 20 minites to be seated, we were taken to a table (to the least preferred back room) where my fabric chair was covered with sticky rice. My son's soy sause bowl was dirty, the hot towels smelled like a old moldy sponge and the floor was littered with food. Our nervous waiter really seemed to be trying hard and we felt bad for him. A bus boy/kitchen employee came out determined he had food we ordered which we did not as it was someone else's order. As usual my husband and son ordered the Sushi boat which seemed to hold much less food that it used to. Our quest for a new favorite Japanese restaurant has started.

Pros: Some great sushi... love the eel.

Cons: So dirty and not the best service.

We have been to 3 sushi/Thai restaurants and we keep coming back to Wasabi. The rolls are huge and fresh while there Thai is simply amazing and cooked to perfection. The wait staff is the best while the atmosphere is hip and modern. TIP: check out local hotels they have a 10% coupon available near the "what to do section" got mine at la Quinta.

Pros: Food is fresh and good portions. Always plenty of room never crowded.

Cons: Shopping center is small. hard to find parking.

The special sushi rolls are HUGE! My husband and I ordered 4 different rolls and we couldnt finish it. Try the spider rolls...its yummy...One review recommended the Macgregor rolls..although plentiful (about 10 pieces), dont try it unless you like tons of cream cheese in your sushi rolls. Overall, Wasabi is a nice cozy atmosphere. The service is great. I recommend making reservations...request a table by the widow.

Pros: service

We have been to Wasabi multiple times and service has been from good-fair to non existant. The food is excellent but, the management appears to have difficulty getting orders taken and the food served in a reasonable time. Maybe it was our recent waitress that made us decide we would never be back, even she told the manager our service was poor but, he chose not to speak with us.

Pros: Thai food

Cons: Service staff

The Sushi at this palce is the best in the area. It is prepared right, everytime. The service is OK. The Sushi is very fresh, cut properly and presented in style. We do not eat the Thai Food as an entree so I can not comment on that cusine. I have tried a few Thai Appertizers and they were good. There is a picture of The Iron Chef Japanese on the wall eating at Wasabi. I guess he probably knows his Sushi. So if you don't believe me I guess you can believe him. Check this place out and make sure you order the Lobster Roll.
