I have been to a lot of different nail salon's in the Raleigh and Cary area and I ALWAYS end up back at Tips 2 Toes. They are always busy and even with an appointment you will probably have to wait but honestly, I don't know what nail salon you won't have to wait at! The wait is well worth it here, they have always done a great job on my nails whether it's gel nails, pedicure or a manicure. I've never gotten the same technician twice but they all are very experienced and do a great job. They are a bit expensive but it is in line with many of the better nail salons in the area. Check them out for yourself! Just make sure that when you go, you're not expecting to be in an out because I can guarantee it will never happen unless you go during a slow time.
Pros: Great service, friendly staff, quality result
Cons: Wait time

I have been to tips 2 toes several times. The customer service is fabulous. The pedicure massages are GREAT. I got gel tips there for graduation and I was complemented several times. For each service that you get, the employee spends as much time as nessassary to make sure you are satisfied. Make sure you make an appointment because the walk-ins are not as successful. Try to avoid friday and saturdays because many people come in on those days (they will not spend as much time on your nails and they will rush).
Pros: FANTASTIC services
Cons: will rush if you don't have an appointment, more expensive than your average salon (but worth it!!!!)

I went to Tips 2 Toes in Brier Creek on Friday, June 6th. I called ahead of time, made an appointment and told the Receptionist what services I wanted done (full set of Gel Tips and Pedicure). When I arrived I told them that I had an appointment for 5:30 pm and what the services that I was requesting and they ushered me to an open pedicure station and began preparing the water for my pedicure. I sat in the chair for what seemed like 10 minutes before a Pedicure Technician came over and started my Pedicure. The gentlemen who performed my Pedicure was very good. The Manager informed a Nail Technician, June, that I wanted a full set of Gel Tips and that I was assigned to her. She began telling the Manager, "No!". She had an appointment that was soon to arrive and did not have time to do my nails. The Manager insisted, she gave in. I sat down at June's station to have my nails done. She was in a big hurry and did not size the nails to my hand correctly. Each nail was too big and they would not stick. Instead of adding more glue or buffing my nail bed slightly to make it more pourous, she continued with gluing on the other nails. Now I should have stated earlier that this is not my 1st time getting this type of service. The normal procedure it to apply a special acrylic to the tip and the client's nail to lay a good foundation for the application of the gel. Unfortunaely, June decided to skipp this step, proceeded right to the end, applying the gel and have me place my hands under the UV light. When I questioned her about this she acted as if she did not know what I was talking about. In the middle of applying the gel she got up and left and started working on her appointment. Another gentlemen finished my nails. 2 days after having my nails done they lifted, chipped and broke off. I paid roughly $76 dollars for everything and even tipped each person. I know have Gel Tips that look like my 6 yr old did them. I will never go back to this place.
Pros: Great Massage given during Pedicure
Cons: Nail Technicians are only concerned with long term customers.

I went to this place for the first time, after reading decent reviews. My pedicure was slightly rough, but I was pleased because the colors looked good. But sure enough, the same woman was FLYING through my manicure and ripped off a piece of my ring-finger cuticle! It started bleeding down my finger and she apologized but I felt sick for the rest of the manicure. No infection yet, though I'm crossing my fingers. My friend had a different manicurist who did a decent, careful job on both her pedi and mani but the following morning my friend discovered a round cut on her foot from the pumice stone and it started bleeding to the touch. Maybe we had a bad experience (on a busy Friday afternoon) but I'd rather die than go back again. Be careful!
Pros: Many mani and pedi chairs
Cons: Horrible skill! Two different manicurists cut myself and my friend by accident

On a cold day I decided to get my brows waxed. The girl was quick and it was more painful than normal, but not many places are as good as Nail Image! Well I felt her put her arm on my head but thought nothing of it. Well I looked at my brows in the micro mirror and put my hat on, paid and left. I got back and noticed my hair had a huge glob of wax! I called and of course the manager would call me "right back" or NEVER! I am highly recommending you run away from this place even if it is convenient!
