I first tried out this theater when it first opened up. It was great because it seemed we were the only people to know about it! It seems a lot more people know about it but it is never as crowded as the movies at Cary Crossroads. The concessions are so-so. What I really dislike about this theater is they have a church using half of the theaters on Sundays. Well, that I wouldn't mind as much but 1) parking is then scarce during a time when it shouldn't be 2) they actually have greeters from the church come out and talk to you (not something I should encounter when attempting to watch a MOVIE). Once you enter the stadium, it's nice. There isn't a bad seat in the entire place. It is too bad the auditorium, parking and concessions are such a problem because otherwise I'd rate this theater MUCH higher than I have.
Pros: No crowds, great stadium seating
Cons: parking, concessions, atmosphere

It is an okay theater the theaters are very small hold about 88 to 96 patrons which makes the stadium screen very small. I had much rather go to Smithfield and see a movie at Howell Theater on Third Street Smithfield. The Stadium style seating there is small but has alot of old fashion appeal. With the best popcorn in the business. Not to meantion the down home friendly folks that run it. I was not impressed past the front door of the of the lobby.
Pros: Great hand dryers in restroom.
Cons: Temp was way to cool

Brier Creek measures up to other movie theaters in this area in most aspects, but I will bypass this theater every time for two reasons -- the parking situation is lousy, with half of the available spaces across an interior road which people drive along at up to 40mph; and the concessions are awful. The hotdogs are awful, the popcorn tastes stale even when it's just been made, their toppings, which are powdered, make my stomach turn, and although they serve Coke products now there are not a wide variety of drinks, and no Icees like most other theaters in the area offer. Not worth the price.
Pros: stadium seating, convenient location
Cons: inefficient parking, awful concessions, crowded

Next to the AMC at Downtown Disney in Orlando, this is the best movie theater I have ever been to. If you are tired of teenagers surrounding you, check this place out. The lobby is smaller then some of the other theaters out there (SOUTHPOINT AMC), but that gives it a private theater feel. The best part is that is not a lousy seat in the house. They took the first few rows out so no more sitting directly in front of the screen. If they ever bring back Ice Cream I won't go anywhere else to see a movie.

Being a frequent movie goer, I have come to appreciate Brier Creek. The best part about it is the movie presentation itself. While all movie theater's auditoriums are retangular, Brier Creek is the only theater in the area (other than IMAX) to project the movie on the longer wall. This results in a larger, brighter screen presentation and closer seating (longer, but fewer rows of seating). As a matter of fact, 4 of the screens are in excess of 60 feet. Other nearby theaters have approximately half the screen area. When you want to watch an epic (Star Wars, etc.), there is no better place to be. While, yes it is built with concrete, I do not understand some of these reviews. I have found the seats comfortable, the people very nice, and they keep it spotless. Enjoy!
Pros: Huge Bright Screens, Close Seating, Clean/Comfortable
Cons: Small Bathrooms, Location

I've seen several films at Movies at Brier Creek, and each time I remember why it's my least favorite theatre in the Triangle Area: the lobby and auditoriums remind me of an aging, average high school. The scary thing is that this is one of the newest theatres in the area. Even the other Eastern Federal theatre in Chapel Hill is nicer, and by-far MUCH older. It's hard to describe, but it seems stark. I like the more plush surroundings of the Consolidated theatres just down the road in three directions.
Cons: stark, cement, concrete

I had high hopes for this theatre, but after three visits, they have struck out. The complex seems cheaply made, and they serve Pepsi products. As if that wasn't bad enough, their managers and staff are inattentive and discourteous at best. I'll never pay to see a film here again... especially when there are nice theatres a couple of miles in either direction.
Pros: Free Movies

LOVE the theater! We (my family) drive the hour-long drive just to visit this theater. Everthing is so comfortable, the restrooms are clean, they even allow YOU to add the butter to your popcorn yourself! :D
Pros: Comfortable chairs!, Clean theater, Inexpensive

The service was fast and accurate. Everyone wanted to help, the concession area was clean, the whole theatre was clean. The popcorn was fresh unlike some other movie theatre's close by. Thank you for a great experience!
Pros: Hot popcorn, Reclining seats, Clean!!
