I used to get pizza at this place for the last year and it was absolutely great, all of the sudden the dough started to get really chewy and the overall quality went down hill. Did it change ownership? I'm really disappointed since I live really close to this place. Now I need to find a new place.
Pros: Better than the chain places.
Cons: Dough seems stale and chewy

This is my favorite neighborhood restaurant, but well worth traveling cross town for. I bring out-of-town business associates here. The food is great, tasty, and authentically prepared. The owner and his staff are very friendly and very quick to ensure everything is done right. Looking for a comfortable place to hangout with some good food? This is it.
Pros: Good food in a comfortable neighborhood setting

I was hoping this place was going to be good. That's what I get for litening to someone that likes chain store pizza. Our table was filthy. I would not recomend this place to anyone that is looking for good taste and quality. Very disapointing and on top of that the staff is rude and not very professional.

When I'm in Cary I usually eat at Salvio's if I'm in the mood for pizza or a sub. The other night I tried another place with an Italian name off of 64, I won't name names, but it made me realize how good Salvio's really is. The older guy that works there even looks and talks like he is an authentic Italian, but even if he isn't the food is amazing. I recommend the Margherita Pizza and the Italian Sub. Great prices, great food, what more can you ask for?
Pros: Flat Screen TV for your sports viewing needs while on lunch break, great food, fast service
Cons: It's a small place and gets full quickly somedays at lunch

I was searching and searching for the taste of NY pizza here in the triangle. Found some alright places, stopping after going to Cinelli's in Cary. Oh man am I glad I thought to look for a Ralph's Italian Ice in the area. It's in the same plaza as Salvio's! What more could you ask for? So I ventured into Salvio's thinking it was gonna be another bad experience, but I could not have been more wrong. It is by far the best pizza in the area. Make you way down and order anything, it's all good! Go, NOW, I MEAN IT!
Pros: Price, Food, it's awesome
Cons: There are none, I dare you to find any

I have been to MANY pizza places in the Triangle (Mellow Mushroom, Daniel's, Vincent's, NY Pizza, Sal's, Brooklyn Brothers, etc...) and I think Salvio's is simply....The Best. He orders his ingredients from NYC, so as to make his pizza as authentic NY style as you can get. He truly succeeds. Great pizza. My family makes it a habit to eat there every week.

Last month I went to Patsy's in Harlem... the best of the best in the Pizza world. One of NYC's Finest. I thought the taste, the atmosphere, the sounds, the smells, etc. could not be duplicated. They (Salvio's) are as close as you can get outside of the 5 boroughs... The food is great, the place is clean and authentic, listen close and hear Neopolitan Italian behind the scenes, what more can we ask for in Cary? You gotta try it.
Pros: Delivery, Price, Food

Talk about your "mom and pop" restaurant... this restaurant fits the bill!! You walk into a spotless restaurant where the floor reflects your image. You're greeted by Sal, the Italian, "Mr. Personality". My family has pulled tables together there for a family gathering. The pizza's outstanding, especially the Ranchero which features a white base with tomatoes, bacon and ranch dressing. Or you could try a hot Italian sub sandwich... don't forget to try the Tiara misu -- delicious!!
Pros: Delicious food, Great service, Reasonable
