What has happened to Kemp's ? Has it changed ownership...management...or just gotten lazy? It's been almost two years since the last visit. My parents had come to visit and we took them to Kemp's since the food and service were so wonderful. So, last week, my parents are back in town and wanted to go back to Kemp's. It was awful! The crab cakes were void of crab, and were dry. My mother had Scallops and actually asked the waitress (who was quite nice), if they were "real scallops". I had the broiled platter...the fish was dry and overcooked, but drenched in way-too-much butter...as if to compensate for lack of quality ??? Without going into excessive detail...no one was the least bit happy with their dinner. And the prices seem to have gone way up.... what's up with that...shouldn't the food quality at least stay on par? I feel sorry for the wait staff! As hard as they try...the food quality (lack thereof) has to be affecting their gratuities. Next time...we'll take the folks to McDonald's for a fish sandwich! Oh...and why is Kemp's overall Review still at 4.5 Stars ?????? when there are so many negative reviews?
