I haven't been to Wardrobbe in awhile but, I found so much to choose from (more than anywhere else in Cameron Villiage) and such genuine people who work there. I dont know why people are such Nordstrom supporters- dont get me wrong Nordstrom is great and all- but apparently some people don't appreciate privately owned businesses. I came in the other morning and the girl that helped me had so many suggestions for me and just kept giving me things to try on that I did not see on the racks. She helped me out so much it will be the #1 I will shop at from now on!

Pros: Employees, Selection

Cons: Parking

For cool, casual men's clothes in Raleigh, this place is *decent.* I agree with one of the other reviewers: the service needs some work. When I was helped, it was typically from one of the guys, who was actually very helpful and pleasant. The rest of the staff I would characterize as "retail blondes": they either flirt with you or blankly sit there. Either way, they aren't of much help. The selection of clothes for guys includes Diesel, Modern Amusement, Ben Sherman, Andrea Palombini, etc. (Note that Urban Outfitters carries both Diesel and Ben Sherman). The selection of jeans is pretty weak--go to Nordstrom. They have some funky shoes, but never anything in my size (13)--go to Nordstrom for that as well. But they do have some cool shirts, and it is one of the few places to carry Andrea Palombini shirts. Even then, they mark them up significantly, so it is easier to order them online from LA. (see JRansomLa dot com). All in all, this place includes a service premium in its prices, without providing much service. In a bigger, more cosmopolitan city than Raleigh, I think this place would have a hard time staying in business--at least in terms of men's clothing. I occasionally stick my head in the door, but it's easier to do my shopping for cool clothes at either Nordstrom, NV, or in another city altogether.

Pros: The Occasional Cool Shirt.

Cons: Indifferent Staff. Prices.

I stopped by Wardrobbe twice in the past month. I have been out of town since the summer of 2006 -when I walked in either time, I did see the employees I was used to seeing ALL the time. One of the times that I went in one of the employees was sitting on the counter the entire time I was in the store! As I looked around, the other customers were not being helped. I was being helped my a guy who has helped me before and he was great. They did have some new brands that they hadn't carried before and I ended up buying a top. The other time I went in I was helped by the other guy, who has helped me previously, and he was nice. A girl, whom I have not seen before what sitting in the chair the whole time I was there - she did not get up for anything. It seemed like the guy had to do all the work. That time I did not buy anything - the one sun-like dress I saw was almost $300 and I don't need a sundress for $300. My advise to this store is to hold on to your old employess or train your new ones.

Pros: New lines

Cons: Parking, new staff

I haven't been as impressed with this store as much as everybody else seems to be. Altho I appreciate that they are one of the only stores in the triangle to carry the brands that they do, i.e. diesel, energie, ben sherman, etc..., their size selection (for guys at least) is extremely limited. Unless you're a size large or bigger, good luck finding any tops that will fit. And if one of the associates offers to 'special order' an item, I'd say you have about a 1 in 5 chance of it actually coming in. You'll have better luck searching online if they don't have your size. As far as the staff, well... They're nice, and as helpful as they can be, but I would definitely bring a friend with you if you want an honest opinion, because apparently they think everything looks good on you. They do have decent sales, which is a plus, but again, the sizes are limited. I've managed to find a few great items here and there at Wardrobbe, but it really is one of those stores that you have to go into way too frequently (usually without any luck) before you find something you'll want. The store is definitely worth checking out, but don't get your hopes up too high.

Pros: good random finds

Cons: limited sizes

After shopping at other stores around Wardrobe, I found the girls that work there to be so helpful in finding my outfits and really caring about what I wanted and needed. They were honest and had me try on different things that I ended up loving! I did NOT know what I was looking for and they helped me find it! Thankyou Wardrobbe!

Raleigh finally has a shop that sells high end brands such as Diesel, Ted Baker, Ben Sherman, DKNY, and Paper Denim. The staff is wonderful and the selection, while small to medium sized, is great - and it continues to grow. I have a hard time not spending TONS of money every time I go there.

Pros: Friendly staff, Great brands

Cons: , Expensive - worth it

I wasn't expecting much, after reading reviews of snotty salespeople at other Cameron Village boutiques, but the people at Wardrobbe were actually quite pleasant. Not terribly helpful - I went looking for help in finding an outfit for a specific special event, and they didn't really seem to have a feel for what I was looking for. But they were nice to me, and because of that, I will be going back, provided I know exactly what I'm looking for and don't really need the salesperson's help.

A place you can shop with ease and find all the latest styles and trends! Store owners and their staff are courteous and helpful. They are never pushy or unhelpful. Aside from all the best styles for men and women, they also cary some shoes and accessories! It's so much fun to go shopping and be able to find what you are looking for! So glad the Wardrobbe is here!!! A great new place in Camerob Village!
