Varied menu of standard American favorites. Vegetarian items on the menu, include: Pizza, Spicy Black Bean Burger, Veggie Melt Foccacia, Portabello Mushroom Sandwich, Grilled Vegetable Sandwich and Salads.

I got the idea from other reviews that this place has great pizza, but I found out that it is the opposite. It is comparable to frozen pizza that you get in grocery store freezer section, but worse. They take pre-formed/pre-rolled pizza dough from the freezer, and top it with tasteless tomato sauce and cheese. I strongly advise against eating at The Loop. In addition, the prices are not inexpensive.

I love all the food here, it's wonderful. Best comfort food. The Pizza Bianco, the french fries, Greek salads and the milkshakes are great.
Pros: Great food and great staff
Cons: Not the healtiest of places to eat

If you just want a good sandwich or soup go to The Loop. I've been to the one on Kildaire and on 55. 55 seems more inviting (maybe just better lit), but that's not what The Loop is about. It's just good tasting food.

We love going to The Loop but it is not exactly inexpensive for a get your own food/drink place. It makes for a pretty quick meal because you don't have the hassle of a waitress. It depends on weather you want to be catered to or not. The Grouper sandwich is a must and comes grilled or fried. The Tomato Bisque is the best soup around. The pizza is average but the selection on the menu is a good one. so it should be easy to find something you like.
Pros: Quick, Good Food, Good Selection
Cons: Somewhat expensive, Noisy

Great food - lots of families with kids so it can get kind of loud. If you don't have kids go after 8 it usually calms down a bit. Salads, pizza and wraps are great!

This is a great place for good salads and pizza and there is plenty on the menu for kids to enjoy, too. Overall, this is a great family place!

Their menu is based on pizzas, sandwiches and salads- when you're in the mood for something of the genre, The Loop fits the bill. Everything is delicious, and the atmosphere is family-friendly and interesting. The only down-side is that their menu never changes... I've exhausted their menu and would love for them to surprise me with something new -- I know it would be delicious!
Pros: Constiently Good, Convenient, Good atmosphere

the milkshakes are amazing, and the pizza is even better, nice clean enviroment, good food, great family place, good, quick service, great restaurant all the way around
