I have not been to this theater as of yet, but it seems pretty standard. I will let you know about my experience when I get there.

it was the clean theater in Raleigh... but has fallen into slight disrepair. The theater floors are kept swept, but the paint on the walls and "balcony-side" seats is peeling.

Pros: ample parking

Movieminder & Citysearch rarely have RG's listings, because they don't bother to send updates. Parking is so small it's dangerous, and the speed bumps will rattle your teeth. Movies are typically overpriced for local chains. Concessions are not very good, and still overpriced. Still the worst popcorn in Raleigh - Even the $1.50 theatre is better. Sound/lights are ok, but nothing to write home about. Screens are small, but big enough for the small rooms. On the other hand, it's very convenient, and has VERY comfortable stadium seats. Bathrooms are usually clean (love the jet powered hand dryers). Has consistently the best movies of the current crop (although they did show that FarenHypeMrMoore thing). People are friendly and helpful, and the ambience is nice.

Pros: Convenient, Nice chairs, Friendly

Cons: Tiny Parking, Concessions/Prices, Listings? Hello?

This is one of the better cinemas in Raleigh. That said, Raliegh really needs a good cinema. I do my best to see movies when I go back to Charlotte. The quality of the theaters there is far superior. The sound leaves much to be desired. Surround sound is more like Surfront sound. I can't help but to be reminded every few minutes that I am watching a movie, even when watching the very best movies. Go here until they build a better one.

Pros: Stadium Seating, Better sound

Cons: Small Parking Lot, Poor Layout, Swamped w/ teenagers

which is one of the reasons this theater is so sad - Yes it is a theatre with great stadium seating - but the sound often bleeds over from the movie next door, the parking is a nightmare, the tickets are overpriced, management seems to be invisible and yes, Virginia, the popcorn really is the worst in Raleigh --- with good popcorn, I can almost forgive the other faults....

Pros: Stadium seats

Cons: POOR POPCORN, Missing Management, Overpriced

Even though the drive is longer, I prefer this theatre over most others in the area simply b/c it is more comfortable, smells nicer and they have a greater selection of concessions (albeit pricey). Still no movie times posted anywhere besides a newspaper - who wants to waste money on one of those when you have the internet?

Pros: stadium seating, good concessions, great sound & picture

Cons: small parking lot, pricey

overall nice area, parking could be better, make sure you arrive with plenty of time before show begins because parking at peak times is a hassel.

This place was great when I moved to Raleigh three years ago. It has since been on a steady decline. Saturday night I noticed cob webs on the lights. Not just little cob webs, but huge cob webs. It looks like they have decorated for Halloween! Recently I went into a theatre and the trash from the previous movie was not removed by the staff. I had to sit in what looked like a landfill. And I had paid $7.50! The seats and floors are nasty. Why have the seats not been cleaned? Does management not notice? I feel like I need a shower when I leave this place!

Pros: movie selection, stadium seating, comfortable seats

Cons: dirty, dirty, dirty

I would like to know what the management of the Raleigh Grande feels they are doing to deserve my business. Is it is nice theatre? Yes. Do I feel like they want my business? No. I am not expecting them to roll out a red carpet, but posting movie times should be a given, trying to reduce concession lines would be nice. Until they show me they want my business, I don't mind driving out of my way to go to other 'nice' theatres like Cary or even Southpoint. Southpoint is run by the same company, I don't know why the two are so different. If you have an extra 10 minutes, take the time to go to Crossroads. Your money should go to someone that is trying to earn your business.

Pros: Nice Theatres, Generally clean

Cons: No respect 4 customer, Poor traffic flow

To be one of the "best" theaters in town you would think they would actually post their movies and times? I have come to this site repeatedly as my husband and I see tons of movies and they very rarely have their information listed. They have lost quite a bit of business from us to the Cary theater which is much farther away for us but at least I can always get the times. If you're having the same problem try the theater at Crossroads in Cary ...it is VERY nice....and I know what's playing!

Pros: Good movie selection

Cons: Movie listing online?
