We took our kids to see a 1pm show and the staff had started the day with a skeleton crew. The line (there was only one window open to purchase tickets, poor lady!) curved all the way around the building. The manager was the only one working in the concession stand. 35 minute wait to get popcorn and candy. While waiting for snacks, there was an altercation between two men outside at the ticket window for someone "jumping" in line. Who wants to wait AND be late?? The manager was too busy to handle the fight. There were children waiting to get in who had to witness this terrible behavior. While we have typically enjoyed this theater in the past, the mornings and early shows will be seriously avoided by our family- or we'll bring our own soda and popcorn! Good luck!
Pros: VERY patient and courteous staff under difficult conditions.
Cons: Not enough staff- why are they trying so hard to save on labor????

Walls at Wynnsong are too thin. Neighboring movies' soundtracks can be heard. The projectors/projectionists are not that great and focus is sometimes not quite sharp on the screen. But at least I've never seen a film get badly damaged (and need to be repaired) while playing at Wynnsong - this is a good thing.

This is the only theater that I have encountered that you cannot pay by credit card. I mean what year are we living in? Also, do not try to pay with your debit card - half the cards are not accepted and the half that are get charged an extra $1. Unfortunately, I have seen them lose business as a result. This is an older theater and is nothing special. The staff are nice and friendly though. As with all movie theaters, the prices are high. If you plan to go here remember to bring cash as they have not moved into the information age yet.
Pros: Friendly Staff
Cons: Can't use credit card, $1 Charge for Debit

Heres the deal folks. Don't let companies charge you for running your debit card because it may not be allowed by the issuing network, such as Interlink etc. Dispute the fee with your bank and make them do it! You may have a refund in your accout soon...
Cons: debit card fees

The theatre is not what it used to be. I agree with the other reviewer, that the credit card issue is a problem. I have witnessed quite a few people, including myself upset at the fact that there is a debit card fee and that you cannot even use a credit card. The popcorn is usually cold and the theatre is usually warm. The movie selectiona nd times are just fine but they do need to spruce up the atmosphere.
Pros: Movie Selection
Cons: Card fees

I've had 2 encounters with management at Wynnsong. The first time I had an expired coupon to see Lord of the Rings (yes, a while ago) and the M.O.D. honored it. He was very nice and I was very grateful. The second time I had purchased a ticket with my ATM card. I got charged a $1 fee. I was not happy about it (paying over $8 for a ticket is expensive). I talked to the manager and he explained that they get charged this from their vendor and it's not them making the $1, similar to ATM fees if it's not where you bank. He was courteous about it and also pointed out that they had a sign right on their machine that I must have overlooked. Anyway, although I wanted my dollar back, I appreciated his courtesy and professionalism. There's a lot to be said about that nowadays.
Pros: good movie selection, seating, clean, no crowds, good Mngmt
Cons: ATM/Credit card fees

WARNING: $1.25 service charge to use credit cards. I'd noticed that SouthPoint's fabulous new cinemas seemed to be taking business away from they Wynnsong. Credit card service charges are probably partially to blame; that along with 90 degree temps in the theatres and the fact that the staff turns off film credits. This is not a discount theatre; if it was, these problems would still not be acceptable though possibly slightly more understandable. This theatre's quality is gone.
