Wildwood Green was created with players of all levels in mind. Stretching to 6500 yards from the back tees, our par 71 layout is challenging enough for the best players yet still fun for the occasional golfer. Which is why we have four sets of tees for the player to choose the one best suited to his/her enjoyment of the game. Generous landing areas allow some margin of error from the tee although there is no shortage of trees and traps. Each cart is equipped with GPS so you can dial in the perfect yardage for your second shot no matter where your ball ends up. While large greens provide a tempting target for your approach shots, you also need a skillful touch to get the ball in the hole.

Location of this course can't be beat! The staff is excellent and the course is in good condition. Some might find the length to be a negative, but I think it makes it more challenging by making you control your irons. The newly added GPS system is a great added feature-makes the round a lot more fun.

Pros: location, staff, GPS System

This course has become a big disappointment. The condition is poor, pace of play is slow, value is non-existent, GPS is no longer on carts, carts tend to die in middle of rounds so bring a cell phone to call the pros hop for a replacement. There is no manager on weekends, so if you have a problem requiring attention you must call back Mon-Friday between 9 and 5. With so many other really nice options in Raleigh, this course should be at the bottom of anyones list.

Pros: close to town,

Cons: pace of play is slow, practice area is poor condition, greens are poor, tees are sandy, sand traps are rocky, no on site manager on weekends, understaffed registration desk, value is low
