I have found Edible Art Bakery to be so wonderful. They have come under new ownership. I KNOW FOR A FACT THAT THEY DO NOT SELL A 9"CAKE SO YOU MIGHT WANT TO KNOW THAT. IT GOES FROM 8" -10". You sound as if you do not know much about cakes let me help you understand. YOU PAY FOR QUALITY. THE BAKERS BAKE YOU A FRESH CAKE AND DESIGN IT TO YOUR SPECIFICATIONS. OF COURSE THERE WILL BE A PRICE FOR CUTTING A SHAPE AND ADDING AND MIXING COLORS. i WAS ACTUALLY THERE THAT DAY WHEN YOU ORDERED THAT CAKE AND HEARD THE LADY GO OVER PRICING AS YOU DECIDED TO ADD EVERYTHING THAT YOU COULD POSSIBLY GET ON THE CAKE. SHE SPECIFIED THAT THE CAKE WOULD BE $98.71. YOU ASKED WHY ANSD SHE EXPLAINED TO YOU IN DETAIL THAT YOU WERE ADDING THINGS THAT DID NOT GO FOR A BASIC DESIGN. TI THINK YOU ACTION TO COME ON CITYSEARCH AND TRY TO DESTROY SOMEONES REPUTATION IS DISTASTEFUL. HAVING THE FACT THAT I WITNESSED YOUR BEHAVIOR AS A CUSTOMER YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT WHEN YOU DECIDE TO ACT IN THAT MANNER THAT YOU CAN GET SUED FOR DEFAMING SOMEONES BUSINESS. I WILL CONTINUE TO GO TO EDIBLE ART BAKERY. I BELIEVE THAT PEOPLE SHOULD GIVE THERE OPINION GOOD OR BAD BUT I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT YOU SHOULD LIE BECAUSE YOU WERE EMBARRISED IN FRONT OF 6-8 PEOPLE ON A SATURDAY CAKE PICK UP. THE LADIES THERE WORK HARD AND THE CAKE IS MAGNIFICENT. THE KNEW OWNER IS WONDERFUL AND THE MAKEOVER IS TOO. I THINK ANYONE SHOULD DROP BY AND SEE AND TASTE THE CAKE FOR THEIRSELVES. THEN WRITE A FACTUAL REVIEW.

I picked a cake from their book, and asked the price. I was told the cake was in the mid thirty dollar range, and commented that the price sounded cheap for a nine inch cake. The woman just looked at me and did not offer any details. So I ordered the cake, and the order came to $98 for the cake as pictured. So, thirty something for the cake, extra for colored icing, extra for the cut in the photo, extra for gum paste......the price she gave me was for a plain white 9 inch round cake, NOT the cake in the photo. I felt deceived because had she quoted me nearly $100 for a 9 inch round cake, I probably would have picked a cake elsewhere. Won't go back. It was not good value for the money.
Pros: It was a cute cake
Cons: Price quoted was incorrect and $100 for a 9 inch round cake is ridiculous
