What A great experience , A good friend of mine recommended this place to me. I Invited some other friends of me and we enjoyed a terrific time. The place was decorated with Gold leaf and Chandeliers and not a detail was overlooked, Their Coffee tasted great as it was served in beautiful cups. The owner Mr. Droog told me that The Stam family has a tradition of making Chocolates that goes back to 1913 when the founder Jacob Stam decided to dedicate himself completely to the art of making Chocolates. There are over 40 Flavours of Bonbons and Truffels in both Milk and Dark Chocolates and an impressive assortments of other Chocolates and candies. Prices where very reasonable and by Comparison to other chocolates downright Cheap. We filled a box with handpicked favourites for around $15 dollars. I have paid $40 dollars for simular amounts of Chocolates that, by comparison can not even come close to what these Stam Chocolates look and taste like. I have since gone back three times and can not give enough praise for the way I have been treated by the people that work in the store and the level of quality that I get with every chocolate that I eat. Patronize this locally owned store and visit them while in Chapel Hill, The store is conveniently located opposite of the Blockbuster in the Chapel Hill North/Harris Teeter shopping center just off I-40 at exit 266.
Pros: Beautiful Store
Cons: I live in Raleigh and it is a 25 minute ride
