Severe hip pain after a total hip replacement brought me to Progress Therapy, recommended by Ricky Weiss of the Carolina Ballet. I've been working with Lori Von Alten for several months and I can't say enough wonderful things about her. She is a pro. She works with a broad range of people, including dancers at the Carolina Ballet and Raleigh Dance Theatre, the Carolina Hurricanes, and me - an old lady. She's wonderful. She knows what she's doing. She's highly recommended by doctors in the area, as far away as Winston-Salem. Doesn't get much better than that. Trust me.

When a painful and immobilizing disc herniation sidelined me, I sought care from the usual places, an orthopedics practice, a physical therapy group and a chiropractor. My recovery was stalled until I dragged my weak, broken, fragile body into Progress Physical Therapy and began treatment with the great Disc Whisperer, Lori von Alten. Under her attentive and expert care, my pain, immobility and discouragement gave way to increasing strength, flexibility and a glorious return to a comfortable, active life. Together Lori's spot-on assessment, effective use of manual therapy, focus on movement retraining and her delight in my progress have been the healing medicine that none of my other caretakers could offer. Progress PT came highly recommended and I now know why.
