Editorial Review for Hibernian Restaurant & Irish Pub – by Brad Hunter
In Short
Like its counterpart on Raleigh's Glenwood South, the Hibernian in Cary is a proper Irish outpost of good cheer. The over-the-top decor quickly grows on you as you get comfortable. As with the Raleigh pub, it's a predominately young professional crowd. The Hibernian does an excellent job of creating lots of cool little spaces to sit with someone in particular or a group of friends. If the weather is right, try the comfortable outdoor seating.

I've never had a single bad experience here. The service is consistently good and the food is always fresh and delicious. I don't know exactly how "authentically Irish" it is with tortellini on the menu and all but it is definitely worth a try if you're considering it.
Pros: Any dish with chicken in it! Great service.
Cons: Can be a bit crowded with loud after-workers at the bar

My husband and I love to meet our friends here for dinner and drinks. Especially if they are from "up North" the food is always good, the drinks go just right with both the food and atmosphere, and you're not surrounded by tv's in every corner ( there are a few, discreetly placed for those who need their fix. When it comes to Irish pub's you can't beat Hibernian, both in Cary and Raleigh
Pros: Great atmosphere, beer and food
Cons: None
