I would not reccomend this tanning salon to anyone. It has changed management in the last year. I have been a member since 2006 and I enjoyed it with the old owners but the owner now (Sheri) is terrible. She would not only honor the agreement that I had made with Sunnyside on using my "bonus bucks" toward a month of tanning but her employee told me that I could do that and that no more money would be deducted from my account. She told them later that it could not be done and no one bothered to call me to let me know. I went in to dicuss it with Sheri and she was was extremely nasty to me and threatened to call the cops on me so I would leave. I was not raising my voice or anything. I was just disagreeing with her. She did this in front of my kids too. The management in this tanning salon has no clue what running a business entails. I would not waste my money there when there are plenty of other good salons out there.

My husband and I have tanned at Sunnyside in Cary for many years. We heard it has changed ownership several times since we have started tanning with them. This makes us leery to continue tanning there. Several times we have noticed the beds were not cleaned well or the rooms. The salon has gone downhill as far as cleanliness, beds never seem to be cleaned, customer service not very friendly, and there has been several occasions the salon was never opened or an employee hasn’t shown up for their shift. I guess you get what you pay for!
