Editorial Review for Hibernian Restaurant & Irish Pub – by Ken Cleary
In Short
Decorated in traditional Irish style, the bar is accented with dark wood, stained glass art and Irish beer signs. Good drink, atmosphere and conversation draw people here. The scene is entertaining whether a few patrons or it's a packed house munching on spinach dip, curry fries and crab cakes. It gets crowded and smoky on weekends, but outdoor tables are available. During Sunday brunch, the small kitchen turns out traditional pub bites such as the Reuben.

The ExtrasThe late-night menu is a winner. Order chicken quesadillas, even if you don't see them on the menu. The fish-and-chips is also excellent.

Nice to go out and feel like i'm in an irish pub. Food was alright, service was a little lazy. It was a pub and i enjoyed the atmosphere enough to go again.
Pros: Nice atmosphere
Cons: food

After 8 or so visits to the Hibernia, I've really come to appreciate the place. Decor is old school, lots of dark wood across three separate rooms. Food follows basic pub fare: wings, sheperd's pie, sandwiches, etc. Nothing too exciting, just solid and reasonably priced. Service is really good, not only is the wait staff cute and personable, they know how to take care of their customers. It's rare when one of them isn't coming around to check on you. If you don't feel like hanging out indoors, there's a handful of tables around the outside of the Hibernia where you can watch the people go by on Glenwood. Overall a great spot for a casual date, meeting up with friends or just to grab a quick drink!
Pros: Great Service, Nice Relaxed Atmosphere
