The Scene
Dark chocolate-colored walls, natural wood and high ceilings set the tone for this Durham day spa, giving customers the sense that they'll be pampered without pretension. Daylight pours through the windows in the manicure room. A dish of Jolly Ranchers adds an extra dash of indulgence in the pedicure room. The informality here is as comforting as a big, fluffy bathrobe.
The Services
With a treatment list set up in the form of a restaurant menu, the Body Cafe encourages customers to select from its assortment of "appetizers," "entrees" or "desserts." Pedicures are done with the luxury of a foot Jacuzzi and lumbar massage chair, although the pedicure room feels a bit cramped if there's more than one customer inside. Custom packages and "combination platters" are perfect for mixing and matching services.

i went for a facial today by jennifer. it was the most relaxed i have been in awhile...my skin looks and feels like new. she was very professional, yet personal...she truly cared that my facial was all it should be. i highly recommend the body cafe. they also offer lots of other services so it could be one stop for all your "pampering" needs. thanks jennifer!
