With Best of Citysearch, we’ve given the power to the people. Which is the Best pizza joint in your city? Why let us tell you? Think of Best of Citysearch the national, crowd-sourced Academy Awards of local business, chosen by you, our loyal community. The contest runs throughout the year and includes Best Restaurants, Best Spas and Beauty, Best Hotels and Best Nightlife and more. Most campaigns run annually while others may be swapped out for something shiny and new. Check for new polls, new winners and the most up to date Best of Citysearch info in your city.
What’s new:
We’re moving the contest over to Facebook this year! Why? Well, what better way to crowd-source than open the polls where everyone is already hanging out!
How it works:
Our team of experts, in-the-know scouts have nominated 10 businesses across multiple categories. You can pick one, and only one “Best Of” in each category over on our Facebook page. Once you vote, our app will allow you to share your opinion with your friends on Facebook to help get the vote out.
We’ll keep the polls open for two weeks before closing them and tallying the results. Winners will be announced on Citysearch.com, so check back to see if your favorite business won!
Can I pay to get my business placed in the official polls?
The short answer is: if you didn’t get nominated, you can’t. Imagine how many movies would be in the running if the Oscars allowed any producer to nominate his own movie! To keep things fair, we’re relying on our team of expert scouts in each city.
